Mathura, popularly known as Shri Krishna Janam-Bhumi, is a city in the North Indian state
of Uttar Pradesh. About eleven kilometers from the town of Vrindavan and twenty two kilometers from Govardhan,
Mathura is the bith-place of the Hindu deity Lord Krishna. It is located approximately
fifty nine kms north of Agra, and one hundred and fifty kms south-east of Delhi.
